Ecommerce Trading Manager
 
We are looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager for an exciting global online retail business. 
Make an impact through taking responsibility for the customers' onsite experience, optimising touchpoints at every opportunity.
Ensure that the onsite journey is relevant, succinct and on-brand whilst providing consistent optimised product content and up-to-date service information.
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, WebOps and Merchandising teams to ensure we provide the best experience for our customers at all times.
Using the trade calendar and daily trackers, along with 3rd party analytical tools, you will constantly execute plans, monitor performance and enhance onsite sales to achieve agreed targets including AOV, conversion and sales revenue, reporting progress to the wider business.

This is a hybrid role meaning you'll be based at our Head Office 2-3 days a week.
 
Overview           
  • Managing the day-to-day trading and optimisation of the sites and take responsibility for
  • Working with the STM to plot out annual, monthly and weekly targets, ensuring awareness within your team and optimising the site
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to execute the trading calendar onsite, ensuring alignment with the marketing team so the site is complimenting any activity, content is SEO optimised and that the journey for the customer is relevant and optimised
  • Managing seasonal and individual product launches and onsite identity, ensuring taxonomy is updated in line with activity
  • Working with product teams to understand key product USPs and communicate these onsite with photography, videography and copy
  • Ensuring data informs your decision making at all times. Through the use of analytical tools such as GA4, LookerStudio and Content Square.  Build reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to the team and the wider business
  • Working closely with Customer Experience team to ensure they are aware of all trading activity. As well as assessing customer feedback and driving changes from both positive and negative reviews
  • Always being aware of key competitors, their products and trading activity

  • Excellent eCommerce experience gained within a consumer environment,
  • Commercially aware and focused at all times

  • Strong analytical thinker
  • Build relationships, manage stakeholders and drive business direction
  • A self-starter, able to work autonomously and within a team

  • Positive, confident and inspiring manager and leader
  • Awareness of website development processes, UI/UX design and SEO
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms, ideally with experience of Magento 2
