We are looking for a strategic and visionary Head of Commercial to lead the commercial team to support driving the company's revenue growth and profitability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, managing key partnerships, and optimizing business performance to achieve our business objectives.

Principle Accountabilities:
 
  • Lead the commercial team in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
  • Identify & capitalise new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, suppliers, and vendors to ensure mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, customer insights to inform pricing strategies and product development.
  • Oversee the negotiation of contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms and conditions
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, product or distribution trends, financial metrics, and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Accountable for the ‘Trading’ P&L budget.
  • Ensure the commercial team are agile and reacting to any risks or opportunities to deliver monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales and finance, to ensure alignment and synergy in commercial activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
 
Skills and Experience:
 
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial or business trading role, ideally within a fast paced B2C industry.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with a track record of driving commercial success and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in managing a high-performing team and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Passion for a customer-centric approach to business.
