We love partnering with this business who are an innovative and expanding company seeking a charismatic salesperson to work alongside the external sales team and help grow their business in exciting new directions. As they broaden their product range and adapt to the changing landscape of business, they aim to increase sales to existing customers and tap into new markets. If you are a proactive self-starter with proven sales experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape and drive a key area of this business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and nurture relationships with existing customers, identifying growth opportunities and prioritizing accounts with the most potential.
• Work closely with the field-based account manager and senior team to target key new customers and develop business in line with agreed targets.
• Manage and grow business with a database of existing and prospect B2B clients
• Support the field sales team with occasional in-person visits to medium-sized businesses and provide sales support to ensure consistent engagement.
• Follow up and pre-qualify leads generated through marketing activities, deciding on the appropriate follow-up approach (internal or field sales).
• Collaborate with the Directors to identify new medium-sized accounts in untapped markets, developing business with key potential clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the CRM system, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales strategies to maximize lead conversion.
Key Skills & Experience:
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a sales environment, with a track record of success in B2B sales.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage projects and work to targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A self-motivated, proactive approach, with enthusiasm and keen attention to detail.
