Overview: 
This is a great opportunity to get involved in all elements of the marketing mix and to gain experience of both B2C and B2B marketing, experiential marketing and promotions.
 
 Core Objectives of Role 
  • Acts as Brand Champion internally and externally for the brand.
  • Works within the marketing team to deliver the marketing plans and increase demand for products with the target market.
  • Managing specific project work.
 
3.3.2 Experiential Marketing:
  • Assist in the co-ordination of the show program including show applications, preparing equipment needed, creating orders, liaison with the warehouse.  Being the face of the brand on the stand at consumer shows.  Reviewing the value of the activity after events.
  • Organise and run panels and write up results to evaluate the performance of the products against competitive products.
Digital Marketing:
  • Update both consumer and trade websites and propose and implement improvements.
  • Assist with the implementation of social media campaigns (facebook, Instagram) liaising with the Social Media agency, suggesting seasonal content themes, providing assets and monitoring effectiveness.
 
Packaging:
  • Ensure consistency of design, liaise with Technical to ensure accuracy of information.  Brief printers.
  • Assist with Export labelling requirements.
  • Ensuring all catering labels are kept up to date and creation of new artwork as required. 
  • Maintaining artwork and label files.
Trade Marketing
  • Liaise with the Trade Marketing Executive to propose, source, and control point of sale which helps independent retailers sell more products and monitor effectiveness.
  • Assist in the creation of monthly email communications to Trade customers.
 
Other:
  • Ensure all press samples are sent out on time.
  • Take a leading role in community projects and the ‘Win a tree and help the bee’ medlar project, liaising with the School, monitoring fruit collection. Writing press releases and contacting target media.
  • Assist with consumer e-mail newsletters.
 
  • Creative skills required in copywriting and in project work.
  • Analytical skills are needed to evaluate the ROI on activities.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • A thirst for learning.
  • An enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
  • Flexibility, the ability to juggle tasks, excellent project management, communication and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated but with strong team-working skills.  We are a highly collaborative team.
  • Some knowledge of digital marketing including social media.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
