Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Specialist to join this global organisation based in Swindon. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and reporting on content and campaigns to support our communications strategy, contributing to the multi-channel marketing efforts for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Support the Marketing Manager and collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and execute a comprehensive content and communications strategy for our product ranges across all Business Units.
  • Activate, manage, and analyze social media content across various channels, including both paid and organic posts.
  • Utilize CRM and marketing automation platform to execute campaigns in alignment with the Marketing Team's strategy. This will involve close collaboration with the Marketing Campaign Executive and reporting on leads and engagement.
  • Liaise with external agencies when necessary to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct customer research through methods such as online surveys, phone calls, sales team visits, and attendance at exhibitions as required.
  • Collaborate with internal creatives to develop marketing materials for our promoted products.
  • Proactively engage with Business Units to gather necessary information for campaign activation.
  • Ensure CRM system is consistently updated, and campaigns are accurately logged. Ensure leads from activities are promptly forwarded to Sales Teams.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide support to fellow team members and contribute positively to the team dynamic, demonstrating flexibility at all times.
  • Demonstrate proactivity and commitment to enhancing the Marketing department's processes and efficiencies. Ensure all deadlines and briefs are met.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks, ensuring completion within designated timeframes.
  • Cultivate and maintain professional and harmonious working relationships with colleagues, customers, clients, agents, and third-party business partners or representatives of the Company.

Qualifications:
    • Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferred)
    • CIM qualification would be an advantage
    • Demonstrable experience working with creative departments/agencies
    • Proven experience in creating and implementing multi-channel campaigns with clear metrics
    • Strong marketing communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Proficiency in using CRM, CMS, and social media platforms
    • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
