Marketing Manager

You will be joining one of the leading providers in their field, working with clients within the healthcare, life science and food sectors. 

You will be joining the company at an exciting time, with a rebrand and new website being launched later on this year, alongside huge investment going into their showrooms.  As the Marketing Manager you will have full budget and strategy responsibility for the UK Market.  Focusing on the full marketing mix with an emphasis on campaign marketing across digital and traditional methods.

Responsibilities

  • To manage all aspects of Marketing and communications.
  • Create and deliver a marketing strategy in line with business and wider sales objectives.
  • Create and manage annual marketing plan, by product and activity.
  • Ensure marketing activities are aligned with the annual marketing budget.
  • To liaise with all stakeholders from the sales and product management team, corporate marketing team, partner brands and external suppliers as required.
  • Ensure branding and image is consistent and maintained across all activities.
  • Promote the product portfolio, alongside third-party products, technical services, and Materials offer via online and offline marketing channels.
  • Organise, manage, and deliver external and internal events.
  • To support the UK’s sales growth targets and share of the market.
  • Internally and externally enhance the brand and and reputation to gain maximum brand exposure and generate sales opportunities.
  • Ensure third-party partner brands are represented within our industry, in the UK.
  • Create, publish, and adhere to the Companywide, annual Marketing Plan
  • Management of Marketing Executive, including regular reviews, objective setting, appraisals, and development plans.
  • Liaise with colleagues across multiple departments to develop content for sales and marketing collateral.
  • Development and delivery of all offline and online marketing media from advertising, PR, social media content, email campaigns, landing pages, and digital channels to promote all brands.
  • Collaborate with the business to discover needs for email campaigns including newsletters, product updates, event promotion etc.
  • To produce regular success stories from customer machinery installations with supporting photography/video to then share with media publications and publish through digital marketing channels.
  • Preparation of presentations and marketing literature to support proposals and produce additional Sales and Marketing materials as necessary.
  • Coordinate UK trade show attendance to gain brand awareness, generate sales leads, and be seen as the brand leader in the industry. Provide post-event reports.
  • Organise annual in-house events working alongside external suppliers and internal teams to deliver best-in-class events for the industry with the aim to promote brands, products/services and generate leads.
  • To manage, develop and deliver PR, print, and digital advertising schedules to ensure maximum return on investment and brand awareness.
  • To manage and update the website to ensure UK-specific content is uploaded to the website and integrated with other communications channels to gain maximum exposure.
  • To ensure social media channels are optimised with new content, in line with the marketing strategy and wider activity plan.
  • Maintain the CRM/sales database, in terms of new contacts, GDPR and data quality, marketing sources, and exports for marketing activity.
  • To liaise with various external suppliers from printers, designers, videographers, event management, and production teams to deliver quality content for marketing activities.
  • To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the Sales or Management team.
