PR & Marketing Account Manager

Cirencester

£- upto 35k DOE

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our fabulous client, supporting existing client accounts with PR activity, and some marketing!

Working within a fast-paced agency, no day will be the same. You will be plate spinning, managing deadlines, budgets & expectations, whilst remaining cool & calm at the same time! Sounds a doddle right?!

You will be researching & developing content, storytelling, idea suggesting, planning frameworks, writing articles, blogs & press releases, managing advertising schedules & reporting & reviewing on all campaign performance. Working closely with a team of planners you will uncover insight, translating into briefs, managing through to successful execution.

Day to day you will support on several key accounts, acting as the trusted project manager. You will ensure all campaigns and programmes are on track, scheduling daily/weekly/monthly catch ups, taking problems and any day-to-day pains away!

  • Delivering communications programmes: from strategy and planning to implementation, you’ll be supporting the team in results-driven campaigns for multiple clients
  • Managing engaging and powerful social channels: developing and building monthly schedules of content or specific campaigns, monitoring performance and reporting on results
  • Unearthing powerful content ideas, planning & copywriting: researching content and story ideas, planning their format, writing articles, blogs, eDMs and social media posts
  • Creative and studio management: working closely with strategists and planners to uncover powerful insight and translate this into watertight creative and design briefs
  • Advertising: Run advertising schedules
  • Supplier liaison: researching suppliers, keeping abreast of latest offerings, co-ordinating supplier bookings
  • Financial: Estimating jobs, raising POs and invoices. Monitoring budgets vs actual charges
  • Research and analysis: Conducting desk research, sourcing and reviewing campaign metrics to draw meaningful conclusions/recommendations
  • Agency marketing: researching and writing content pieces and involvement with new business pitches where needed

What do you need to bring?

  • Minimum 3 years agency experience
  • An impeccable eye for detail- inquisitive and thorough
  • Confident & engaging communication skills- able to instinctively build rapport
  • A positive, can do approach with a positive attitude- you will be sparky, interesting & interested
  • Determined & proactive, digging deep to unearth new content
  • A team player!
